Once upon a time,
there was a kingdom named Jenggala kingdom. The king of Jenggala kingdom is
Raden Putra. He has two queens. The first queen is very patient and kind but
the second queen is beautiful but arrogant, cruel and jealous to the first
queen. She decided to make the first queen out from Jenggala kingdom. She
cooperated with the shaman of the kingdom.
Queen 2: excuse me, madam.... are you inside? I need your help.
Hurry up! Open the door! (while knocking the door)
Shaman: i am sorry my majesty. Come in, please...(sambil batuk)
what can I do for you, my majesty?
Queen 2: i am sick of her. I want to make her go away from my eyes
and this world. I want to be the only queen in this kingdom and loved by my
king.
Shaman: with my pleasure my majesty, i will do what you want. I
have a poison. Give this poison to your drink and you pretend get sick. Say to
Raden Putra that the first queen has given the poison to your drink. I am sure
that our king will believe you and ask her to go away from this kingdom.
Queen2: thanks a lot shaman. I will do this plan soon.
Two days later,
the second queen did her plan and pretended getting sick. When Raden Putra
heard that the second queen was sick, he came to her room while being accompanied
by the shaman.
King: what happens with you my queen?
Second queen: i get my drink poisoned. When i drink it, i feel
dizzy and want to throw up
King: who poisoned my queen, shaman? (angry)
Shaman: your first queen, my majesty. I saw her this morning.
King: my soldier..
Soldier: yes, my lord
King: i can’t forgive her. I don’t want to see her in my kingdom
again. Bring her to the forest and kill her.

Then, the soldier
brought the first queen to the forest. He knew that she was pregnant at that

was planned by the second queen because she disliked with the first queen.

Soldier: i will kill a rabbit and give the blood of its to my
sword. So, i won’t be suspected later. Now, i ask permission to come back. Keep
your self and your baby.
Several months
later, the first queen born a baby named Cindelaras. He is very handsome and
clever son. In his daily, he always played with the animals in the forest. One day,
when he played with his friends, an eagle dropped an egg.
Cindelaras: ehm.... what a kind the eagle is. it meant to give her
egg to me. I will treat this egg until cracked.
3 weeks later, the
egg was cracked. Cindelaras treated the chick well until the chick grew with
the good feather and strong. Suddenly, there was a strange in his chick. The
chick spoke to cindelaras.
Chick: Kukuruyuk.... my lord Cindelaras, the house is in the middle
of forest and the roof is made from palm leaves. His father is Raden Putra.
Cindelaras was
surprised and told it to his mother. After that, her mother told why they
stayed there. After knowing the truth, cindelaras had intention to tell this
truth to Raden Putra by coming to the
kingdom. In the middle way, he saw someone fought cocks. He was challenged to
join it.
A man: hey.. child. If you are brave, fight your chicken with mine!
Cindelaras: it’s okay. I am
not afraid.
Cindelaras’
chicken was hard to defeat. it could fight all chickens that fight with it. And
the news about Cindelaras’ strong chicken was heard by the king of Jenggala.
Then, he invited cindelaras to the kingdom.
Cindelaras: i come, my majesty. I’m Cindelaras.
King: this son is very handsome and clever. I think he isn’t the
son of ordinary citizen.( thought Raden Putra). Cindelaras, i want your chicken
fight with mine. If you win, i will give half of my wealth to you. But if you
lose, you have to get punishment from me.
Soldier: my majesty, he is still child. Why does he get it?
King: i don’t care whether he is child or adult. This is the rules.

Cindelaras: yes, i am brave my majesty.
After that, fought
cocks was started. Raden Putra’s chicken couldn’t fight with Cindelaras’
chicken. Several minutes later, cindelaras’ chicken won the game and the king

to you, Cindelaras.

Chick: Kukuruyuk.... my lord Cindelaras, the house is in the middle
of forest and the roof is made from palm leaves. His father is Raden Putra.
King: is that true that you are my son?
Cindelaras: yes, my majesty. My mother is your first queen.
Then, the soldier
came to Raden Putra and told the truth. He was shocked and surprised. After
that, he apologized to Cindelaras and her mother. He picked them up from the
forest. After that, he asked to his soldiers to bring his second queen away
from Jenggala kingdom.
King: cindelaras, please forgive your dad! I am a bad dad.
Cindelaras: i forgive you, my dad.
King: now, let’s stay here with me. I don’t want to lose you
anymore
Cindelaras: but, my mom is still in the forest. I can’t leave her
alone.
King: i will ask my soldier to pick her up. We will live in this
kingdom together.
Finally, Cindelaras, his mother and his
father lived happily in Jenggala Kingdom. When Raden putra was died, Cindelaras
became the king of Jenggala kingdom. He led wisely and loved by his citizens.
